Hasn’t Baal been referenced in many movies, as Baal or Beelzebub? Like The Exorcist and Angel Heart, and of course Ba’al: The Storm God? Are there othe movies?

There have been numerous appearances and references across various forms of media, notably:
Books:
- Lord of the Flies by William Golding: This is the most direct and famous literary reference. The “Lord of the Flies” is a pig’s head on a stick, which becomes a symbol of the boys’ descent into savagery and the inherent evil within human nature. Beelzebub is explicitly linked to “Lord of the Flies” in the novel.
- Pradise Lost by John Milton: Beelzebub is a prominent demon, second only to Satan, in this epic poem.
- The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan: Beelzebub appears as a character.
- The Testament of Solomon (pseudepigraphical work): Beelzebub (Beelzeboul) is a powerful demon who tells Solomon he inspires envy, lust, murder, wars, and more.
- Ascent of the Fallen by Travis A. Chapman: Baal is a character, depicted as a fiery demon and beautiful man.
